GFC Elected Representative - Education Dean Selection

General Faculties Council (GFC) welcomes your interest in serving as the one (1) Academic Staff representative from staff category (A1.0), FROM OUTSIDE the Faculty of Education to serve on the Selection Committee for the Dean of the  Faculty of Education as set out in the UAPPOL Dean Selection Procedure.

Nomination and Election Process:
This nomination form must be completed and submitted prior to the deadline in order to be considered. Nominees must be able to attend all meetings.

Nomination and Election Process:
Interested applicants should fill out a nomination form must be completed and submitted prior to the deadline of Friday, October 8th, 2026 in order to be considered.

Responses will be compiled into a "nominee profile".  Upon reaching the nomination deadline, if multiple nominations are received, an election will be held (by GFC) to declare a final candidate. For election purposes, each nominee profile is shared with GFC members.

A completed staff nomination form must be received by noon on Monday, August 24, 2026.

GFC Elected Representative - Vice Provost (Library and Museums) and Chief Librarian

General Faculties Council (GFC) welcomes your interest in serving as one of the three (3) members of the academic staff (Categories A1.1 or A1.5), one (1) from each of the Tri-Council granting agencies areas, elected by GFC. (SSHRC, NSERC & CIHR). To fill this role we follow the Faculty Dean Selection Procedure and the and the Faculty Deans Selection Procedure Appendix A: Dean Selection Committees for Individual Faculties.

  • Short Listing Meeting: May 3, 2027, 2:00 - 4:00 PM (SAB 3-07)
  • Phase 2 Materials shared: June 2, 2027
  • Final Adjudication Meeting: June 17, 2027, 9:00 - 11:00 AM (SAB 2-31)
