Crystal Gail Fraser's project has been awarded The Arctic Inspiration Prize

Congratulations to Crystal Gail Fraser, associate professor in the Department of History, Classics, and Religion and the Faculty of Native Studies, whose project The Land Remembers Us has been awarded $500K from the Arctic Inspiration Prize!

The Land Remembers Us responds to long-standing harms caused by the residential and day school system in the Northwest Territories, and will be using the funds to host three on-the-land camps and one territory-wide gathering meant to bring survivors together with their families, elders, youth, artists and wellness workers.
