Experience Samurai Sword Arts with Hitotose and the EJCA
20 February 2026
The Prince Takamado Japan Centre is delighted to share news of Vancouver-based Tate group Hitotose’s upcoming live performance on Saturday March 14, 2026 at the Edmonton Japanese Community Association.
Hitotose members appeared as actors in Disney+'s "SHOGUN" demonstrating Tate (Japanese stage combat). Their live performance on March 14 will feature the powerful sounds of Taiko drums and the elegant tones of the Shinobue flute.
There will also be an exclusive post-show Q&A where you can go behind the blade and experience Yukata, commemorating the experience with selfies.
