Augustana Miquelon Lake Research Station

Built in 2015 in Miquelon Lake Provincial Park, Augustana Miquelon Lake Research Station was developed to address a broad spectrum of research questions and learning opportunities, with a strong focus sustainability, natural history, and resource management. Its facilities include laboratory space, classrooms, accommodations, and an astronomical observatory (Hesje Observatory) for research and education purposes.

How to Access

1. Complete the appropriate application forms depending on whether you are a day user or long-term researcher.
2. Submit the application form via mail or email (augamlrs@ualberta.ca)
3. Obtain/complete additional forms and permits depending on the nature of your use.
4. Provide these additional documents once you arrive at the station.
