Event booking for student group leaders
Service offered by U of A Students' Union (UASU)
The U of A Students' Union (UASU), in partnership with Student Success & Experience, manages the mandatory event approval process for all University of Alberta student group events and activities. Events must be submitted through the Rubric platform and reviewed before taking place or being advertised. The Student Group Services team supports student leaders by reviewing event details and helping navigate university, UASU, and external requirements, including alcohol, health and safety, travel, speakers, minors, and space bookings. This process helps ensure events are safe, compliant, and successful.
Submissions should be completed during the planning phase and at least 15 business days before the event.
