Mask fit testing
The College of Health Sciences provides a qualitative respirator fit test for N95 masks. Fit tests can be purchased on an individual basis, or via a group booking. They are required for students in most health sciences programs.

What to Expect
An appointment takes approximately 15–20 minutes, during which students are tested with a respirator and a bitter/sweet solution, as well as learning how to properly put on and take off a mask and conduct seal checks. Upon successful completion of the test, the student will receive a certificate that is valid for up to two years or when major physical changes occur.Cost

Cancellations must be done no less than 48 hours before the appointment; a restocking fee will apply. Changing a scheduled appointment must be done no less than 7 days before the appointment and is at the discretion of the mask fit testing team. No-shows will result in a cancelled appointment without refund. Late arrivals may result in appointments being cancelled without refund at the discretion of the mask fit testing team.Contact
