Occupational therapy services
Occupational Therapy at the University Health Centre (UHC) helps students address challenges that interfere with meaningful participation in daily life, academics, and personal wellbeing. Working in collaboration with a UHC physician or Student Success and Experience team referral, the occupational therapist focuses on understanding what matters most to each student and developing individualized strategies to support their goals. Services may address sensory regulation, physical and mental health concerns, life balance, self-care routines, social participation, and academic skills such as time management and coping strategies. Care is delivered in a confidential and supportive environment, with all services and medical records managed in accordance with the Health Information Act and University privacy guidelines.
