Settlement services for international students

Settlement Services helps international students prepare for and successfully transition to life in Canada and Edmonton. These services provide practical information before arrival and throughout a student’s time at the University of Alberta. Topics include finding housing, understanding Canadian health care and insurance, bringing family members, managing finances, navigating winter conditions, getting around campus and the city, recognizing scams, and understanding Canadian cannabis laws. The goal is to help students feel informed, confident, and supported as they settle into their academic and personal lives.
