Student journal & publishing support

The Library provides support for student-led academic journals at the University of Alberta by offering publishing platforms, training, and guidance. Students can create, manage, and contribute to journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), enabling open access to research. The Library supports all stages of scholarly publishing, including peer review, editing, and editorial management. Students get hands-on learning opportunities and build skills in research, writing, collaboration, and scholarly communication while contributing to and sharing academic work across disciplines.
