Certificate deadlines

Your certificate deadlines are determined by your expected convocation date. It is advisable to complete your requirements before the deadlines below. Note that if a deadline falls on a weekend, it will move to the Friday before the weekend.

Fall convocation (November):

• June 30th in your final year: Submit the first draft of your project proposal to your advisor
• September 30th in your final year: Submit your completed project output(s) to your advisor for review
• October 7th in your final year: Present your project
• October 7th in your final year: Complete your sustainability lectures*

Winter convocation (March):

• September 30th in your final term of classes: Submit the first draft of your project proposal to your advisor
• November 15th in your final term of classes: Submit your completed project output(s) to your advisor for review
• January 31st in the year you graduate: Present your project
• January 31st in the year you graduate: Complete your sustainability lectures*

Spring convocation (June):

• January 31st in your final year: Submit the first draft of your project proposal to your advisor
• March 15th in your final year: Submit your completed project output(s) to your advisor for review
• April 30th in your final year: Present your project
• April 30th in your final year: Complete your sustainability lectures*

*The sustainability lecture requirement is only for students who enrolled after July 1, 2022.
