About the Fellowship
This fellowship supports Austrian doctoral researchers from any discipline in the Humanities, Social Sciences or Fine Arts in completing dissertation research.
- Grant Type: Marietta Blau-Grant
- Supported by the Republic of Austria, Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF)
- Duration: 12-month research residency (October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027)
- Award Value: Monthly allowance of 1,800 Euro (for 12 months), with additional accommodation subsidy of between CAN $2,000 and CAN $5,000 (depending on the exchange rate) for successful applicants.
- Builds a tight-knit network of researchers from Central and Southeast Europe, connecting you with scholars in Edmonton and across the continent.
