We all know how important physical activity is for our overall health. But what are the implications when used as a tool for fighting cancer, a disease that strips sufferers of energy and strength. Can a clinically-prescribed exercise plan really help?

Dr. Kerry Courneya, Director of the Behavioural Medicine Laboratory, is an expert in the field of exercise oncology. His lab is focused on generating new knowledge on how physical activity can help cancer patients prepare for, cope with, and recover from treatment, improving long term quality of life and survival.

Join us in person or virtually to learn how to incorporate physical activity while fighting this disease. Those attending in person are eligible to win a fabulous prize pack of goodies from Alumni-owned vendors.
Please note, if attending in person masking is recommended, but no longer required. No food or beverage will be served and none are permitted in the theatre.
