Fellowship in Addiction Medicine

The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has an opening for a Fellowship in Addiction Medicine with a July 1, 2022 start date.  This is a new fellowship and accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as an Area of Focused Competence in Addiction Medicine. Successful completion of the Fellowship will lead to the designation of DRCPSC. 

Interested candidates must review the Royal College website for eligibility. 

Candidates must submit

  • a letter of interest
  • CV
  • three references (including current program director if enrolled in a residency program). 

Eligible candidates will be short listed for an interview.  Candidates will be considered as per hiring policies of the University of Alberta.
