Mathematics and Statistics play a fundamental role in our modern world and provide us with the tools for analyzing and solving problems in numerous fields.

The Applied Mathematics degree teaches you to use mathematical principles to solve real world problems. Unlike most Honors degrees, this program includes a minor in either Computing Sciences or Statistics- depending on your area of interest.

Our Mathematics degree examines the "pure beauty" of mathematics and its principles. The Honors program is ideal if you have a real appreciation for abstraction, logic and symmetry and an interest in becoming Mathematicians. In the Specialization program you are able to combine your interest in mathematics with the study of a related discipline such as physics or statistics.

Similar to Mathematics and Economics, the Mathematics and Finance program offers a diverse education in mathematics, finance, economics and actuarial sciences. It also includes a management science component and is a great choice if you are interested in becoming a Financial Analyst.
