SET Conference

Help WISEST deliver the first Virtual  SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) Conference! This fun and interactive day shows young women and gender minority students in grades 10-12 that there is more to science than medicine, and more to engineering than building bridges, and more to technology than sitting behind a computer screen.

This year, due to restrictions around large group gatherings, we will be hosting a virtual conference with an emphasis on mentorship!  Please consider joining us on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Role Model and Mentoring Volunteers

Who should sign up: Individuals working in science, engineering, or technology fields or pursuing Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD  or Post Doctoral studies in STEM.

Role Model and Networking volunteers lead discussions with groups of students. These volunteers will share their educational and career experiences, allowing students the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about careers in STEM, and may also meet with students outside group discussions to share additional information about careers and projects they are working on. Role Model and Networking Volunteer time commitments are outlined in the registration form.
