Congratulations to Dr. Natali Jacox, PGY1 Urology Resident for having her first paper accepted for publication. Obstetrics and Gynecology, which has the third highest impact factor of all 83 Obstetric and Gynecology journals, will publish her research “Periurethral and Anterior Vaginal Wall Masses: Etiology, Presentation, and Treatment Outcomes.” Dr. Jacox, who started her research while at medical school and completed it during her residency, says “I love research and the collaboration and teamwork it offers! It allows us to not only advance the field of medicine, but to learn to better evaluate evidence and think critically in our daily practices about everything from the guidelines we use to the impact that clinical decisions have on patients."
