Ana-Marija Putrić, PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Law in Osijek, Croatia

I am a doctoral student at the Faculty of Law in Osijek, Croatia in the field of European law. I have more than 20 years of professional experience in legal affairs (professional consultant, trainee judge, secretary of the Official Court, senior consultant, specialist in the quality management system and GDPR, quality management representative, head of the Information Security Team, expert for ISO 9001:2015 and 27001:2013 norm, lecturer at the polytechnic, etc.).

Given my professional experience, I decided to accept the challenge in scientific waters and connect both worlds in the field of law, primarily personal data protection, information security, quality management systems in the public legal bodies of the Republic of Croatia. I am the head of the Working Group for the Quality Management System at the Croatian Union of Counties, where I coordinate and promote the goals of the Counties in the field of quality. I am a member of the Croatian Society for Quality, and I participate in the work of the Croatian Society of Quality Managers. Since September 2023, I have been a lecturer at the Polytechnic in Vukovar in the field of social sciences, Field of Law.

I have been using my free time for many years to help my local community, and I have volunteered for many years providing professional and legal advice. I am a trained conciliator in labor and collective disputes at the Ministry of Justice and Administration of the Republic of Croatia. I also won the Lukšić scholarship at the Harvard School of Government, where I completed the Emerging Leader program.
