Ádám Takács

Dr. Ádám Takács - Hungarian Visiting Professor, Department of History, Classics, And Religious Studies

Adam Takács is Senior Lecturer at the Atelier Department of Interdisciplinary History at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and currently Visiting Hungarian Professor associated to the Department of History, Classics, and Religion at the University of Alberta. He has received his PhD from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and held visiting positions in the USA, France, Romania, and China. His research focuses on modern European intellectual history, Eastern European sate socialism, and various areas of contemporary continental philosophy.
