"Wirth Institute Representatives participate in Seventh Annual Convention of the World’s Austrian Centres and Institutes"

From October 23-26, Wirth Institute Director Joseph F. Patrouch, together with Croatian Visiting Doctoral Researcher Iva Drozdek, Hungarian Visiting Doctoral Researcher Henriett Dinók, and Wirth Institute Founding Director Franz A.J. Szabo, participated in the international conference of Austrian centres and institutes hosted by the University of Leiden and the Austrian Studies Foundation.  Participants from all of the centres funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research (BMWF) participated. These centres are located in Edmonton and Leiden as well as in Budapest, Hungary, Jerusalem, Israel, Olomouc, Czech Republic, Vienna, Austria, and Minneapolis and New Orleans, USA. In addition to hearing papers by researchers affiliated with each of the centres and reports by the current centre directors, the conference participants toured Leiden, Amsterdam, and The Hague.
