Dr. Paško Bilić, one of the Wirth Institute's Croatian Research Fellows in 2011-2012, recently co-authored an article with Nada Švob-Đokić titled "The National versus the European: The Croatian Roadmap to Media Freedom and Independence." The article appeared in the collection Media Policies Revisited: The Challenge for Media Freedom and Independence. Edited by Evangelia Psychogiopoulu, it appeared with Palgrave Macmillan, 2014. Dr. Bilić is currently affiliated with the Department for Culture and Communications of the Institute for Development and International Relations in Zagreb. He is a researcher on the European Union's Cooperation in Science and Technology Action IS 1202: "Dynamics of Virtual Work."
