UofA App to Manage Diabetes

Several CS professors and graduates are developing a tool to help patients manage their Diabetes

Several CS professors and graduates are proud to be part of the EASI team that is developing a tool to help patients manage their Type I diabetes. -- which was described on GlobalTV on Thurs 14/May

The app uses data collected through the Intelligent Diabetes Management Project(IDMUofA). Data is gathered through daily logs that are submitted by people with Type 1 Diabetes. The EASI app then gives recommendations on the amount of Insulin needed for that particular day, based on the activites the person did.
