Here are this week’s updates for the U of A community:

Curbside Library Pick-up — Coming Soon!

U of A Libraries are preparing to launch a Curbside Pickup service for physical items in the U of A collection. This service is for U of A students, faculty, and staff. We are busy in the background planning, arranging, and organizing, but in the meantime, we wanted to share that we expect to launch by the end of June.

Refreshed Campus Life Webpage

The Campus Life webpage has been updated to better reflect the realities of our largely remote campus life. It’s an excellent source for anyone looking to see how the online learning environment is shaping up for Fall 2020.

Easy to Use Remote Teaching Website for Instructors

The Centre for Teaching and Learning has revitalized their website with an improved space for remote teaching guidance. Visit their Remote Teaching website to find sections dedicated to the preparation, implementation, and assessment of online and remote teaching techniques, skills, and resources.

Information for Field Researchers

As the university-at-large moves towards its next phase, the Field Research Office has updated their website to outline the essential characteristics, processes, and considerations that field researchers need to keep in mind for phase two.

COVID-19 Research @ the U of A Database

U of A researchers continue to carry out projects that address the demands and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you’d like to learn more about their efforts, visit the new COVID-19 Research Database to see what projects are currently underway.
