Wild Mushroom Walks | May 23
This summer, May through September, you can explore the wonderful world of mushrooms with expert Martin Osis, who will be leading a number of mushroom discovery walks through the Garden’s natural areas. These walks have been very popular and we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.

Japanese Tea Ceremony | May 25 Sold Out
Take in a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, within the Teahouses in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden, presented by the Matsukaze Chanoyu Association.
“Matsukaze” means ‘wind in the pines’ – in the quiet of the tearoom, the sound of water in the kettle is similar to hearing wind in the pines. "Cha No Yu" (literally, hot water for tea) is the Japanese art of making and sharing tea.
A tea ceremony ticket and Garden general admission ticket are both required to attend.

Seniors' Day | Thursdays Starting June 5
Seniors' Day starts June 5 and runs every Thursday until September 25. Free coffee will be available for seniors (65+) at The Cafe and the Bee Line hop-on-hop-off tram service will be offered most Thursdays typically running between 11 a.m., to 3 p.m.
General Garden admission applies.

Horizons in Unison: An International Concert | August 24
An ensemble of distinguished musicians representing myriad cultures, languages and regions of the world will gather in the Aga Khan Garden for an evening of international music.

An evening of cultural experience centered in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden.
In addition to music, food and cultural displays, Edmonton artist and photographer Nozomi Kamei will share her project about the history of Japanese-Canadians and some of their experiences in internment camps during the Second World War.
