SUMMER SEASON HOURS

Last entry is 1 hour before the Garden closes

MAY 8-31, 2026: Open Friday to Sunday + Victoria Day | 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

JUNE 1 to AUGUST 31, 2026: Open daily.
Sunday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 1 to OCTOBER 11, 2026:
Regular Hours: Open Friday to Sunday  | 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

SENIORS' DAY: From Sept. 4 through Oct. 9, Seniors' Days will be held on Fridays. Free coffee will be available for seniors (65+) at The Cafe and the Bee Line hop-on-hop-off tram service will be offered most Seniors' Days, typically running 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

CLOSURES: On occasion, parts of the Garden will be closed for private events or maintenance. Check this website before you visit.

Location

The Garden is located in Parkland County, Alberta, 15 minutes southwest of Edmonton on Highway 60.

Important

The Garden is not located on the University of Alberta campus.

You will need a vehicle to get here, as there is no public transportation to the Garden. Free parking is available on-location.

Parking

  • Parking is free at the Garden.
  • Bus and limousine parking is available in designated areas.
  • RV parking is available on weekdays only.
  • Bike racks are available for cyclists to lock up bikes.
  • Parking is available for Devonian Trail users during regular Garden hours.
