Campus + Community Recreation

Letter from the Director

What a year it’s been!

The Campus + Community Recreation team has had another incredible year supporting the health and wellness of our communities. Staying true to our mission, we continued to prioritize creating meaningful opportunities for everyone to move, connect and thrive.

Over the past year, we focused on enhancing program quality through thoughtful assessment, addressing aging infrastructure and boosting awareness and engagement across our networks. These efforts paid off—participation in our programs grew by an impressive 30 per cent.

Whether it was joining a sports club, taking part in a group exercise class, belaying down the climbing wall or enjoying a winter lunch walk in the pavilion, there is something for everyone to stay active and engaged all year long.

Christine Legault
Director, Campus + Community Recreation
