Why Join?
Since 1981, the Rowing Team's mission has been to provide UofA Students with the opportunity to participate, train, and compete in the sport of rowing.
Based in Edmonton's scenic river valley, the University of Alberta Rowing Team (UART) welcomes athletes from all sporting backgrounds and provides an excellent introduction to rowing for those with no prior experience. With dedicated coaching, quality resources, and support from our club team, our program gives committed individuals the opportunity to become successful student-athletes. Throughout the season, athletes develop their skills, compete in a number of regettas, and race again other university crews.
