Before you arrive
Bring your ONECard and personal health care card (AHCIP, provincial health care or UAHIP).

At registration
We'll ask a few simple demographic questions to ensure we can provide you with the most complete care possible. Please ensure we have your current contact information, as we may need to reach you with important health updates.

If you need to cancel
We understand plans change. Please give us at least 4 hours notice for same-day appointments, 24 hours for pre-booked physician appointments and 48 hours for specialists. Cancel by calling 780-492-2612, emailing hws@ualberta.ca or through your Ocean booking.

Your privacy is protected. The University Health Centre is committed to keeping your personal health information confidential and secure.
Our Privacy Standards
We follow the Health Information Act and University privacy guidelines to safeguard your medical information. All patient records are stored in a secure electronic medical records system (EMR) that protects your privacy.
Access to your records
Your medical records will not be shared or released without your explicit written consent, except where required by law or as a matter of public health. Your health information is never shared with faculty, supervisors or any university staff outside of our clinic.
