Course Accommodations
Alternate Format
Alternate Format options are available to students through the Course Material Access program and Sensus Access in Canvas. If these options do not provide accessible results, we can produce different formats, including e-text, braille, large print, audio, and coloured paper, for students.
Assistive Technology
Assistive technology and assistive devices are available to help meet the academic needs of students. Technology that is available ranges from braille devices and software, to assistive listening devices, to screen magnification devices, and more.
Communication Supports and Services
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and live captioning (CART) services are available to Deaf or hard of hearing students in academic settings. Services may include support for classes, labs, and other course-related activities.
Field + Practicum Placements
Students with disabilities may require accommodation support in clinical placements, internships, cooperative placements, practicum placements, and other experiential learning courses. We have established a strong working relationship with faculties to provide supports for students' success in these placements.
