About FEGRS
The Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium (FEGRS) is an annual event conducted by the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering.
FEGRS provides excellent research exposure and opportunities to support graduate and undergraduate students, preparing Alberta’s future engineers. Throughout the symposium, graduate students share their work and connect with the research community, learning about cutting-edge research at the faculty.

Pre-Symposium PD Workshop
Before FEGRS 2026, participants were invited to attend a complimentary workshop on Creating Engaging Presentations, led by Professional Development Coordinator Kasey Manuel. The session provided practical public speaking and presentation skills to help students communicate their research with confidence at FEGRS and beyond.
