Question during U of A Days?

Please visit the Information Tent located in Celebration Plaza. Hours of operation are:

  • Thursday, September 19 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday, September 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Registration

Do I need a ticket for events? Where do I pick them up?

With the exception of Alumni Huddle: Friday Night Football, none of the events require a physical ticket but most do require pre-registration. If you are registered, simply provide your name when you check in at the event. A QR code will be provided for those attending Alumni Huddle. Your confirmation email will list the events that you are registered for.

Registration for all events, unless noted otherwise, will close at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18.

Locations

What is the Information Tent? Where is it located?

The Information Tent is located in Celebration Plaza, near the Admin and Students’ Union Buildings. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions, register you for tours, etc. The majority of campus tours also depart from here. Hours of operation are:

  • Thursday, September 19 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday, September 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where are washrooms located?

Washrooms are located throughout campus. Washrooms closest to Quad are in:

Where can I find an ATM?

Banking machines are located on the main floor of the Students' Union Building (SUB) and at the north end of HUB Mall.

I'm new on campus. How can I find the buildings?

First Aid?

For first aid needs, please visit the Information Tent located in Celebration Plaza.

I can't find my child, what do I do?

In the event that you are separated from your child, please check with the Information Tent in Celebration Plaza. They may be there waiting for you, or event staff can coordinate efforts to locate them.

What do I do in the event of an emergency?

In the event of an emergency, please call:

  • Protective Services at 780-492-5050 (24 hours a day), Education Car Park, 11390 - 87 Avenue
  • 9-1-1, Edmonton Police Service
How do I contact Lost & Found?

If you lose an item during U of A Days, please contact Protective Services.

Can I take transit to get there?

Both the North and South University campuses are accessible via the LRT. For information on the Edmonton Transit System, please visit the ETS website.

Can I bring my dog to campus?

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on campus. Exceptions include the use of a service animal.

What is the schedule of events?

How do I replace a lost nametag?

In the event that you misplace your nametag or would like a new one, please visit the Information Tent located in Celebration Plaza for a replacement. Hours of operation are:

  • Thursday, September 19 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday, September 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
What happens if it rains/snows?

The majority of the events are indoors so they won't be impacted by inclement weather. The Information Tent will remain open, rain or shine. Signage will direct guests to the appropriate location.
