Interest Groups

Interest groups are the backbone of the University of Alberta Women's Club. Most of our members participate in one or more interest groups, making new friends, staying in touch with old friends, learning something new, or remembering something forgotten. Pursue your own particular interests with like-minded women.

This section of the site provides brief information about each group. Simply click on each group category in the box on the left and navigate to the sub-category that intrigues you. Each year at our September Wine and Cheese Registration event, members can sign-up for specific groups. If you miss this event you can contact the conveners to join most groups.

If you have a particular interest and would like to start a new group, let our Vice-President know, and she will try to accommodate you!
