It was a great pleasure to host the 35th Alberta District Japanese Speech Contest on Saturday, March 7, 2026, connecting with the University of Calgary, the University of Regina, the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Alberta by zoom. 20 contestants shared their experiences and thoughts.

The first place winners from each of the categories are invited to compete at the 37th Canadian National Japanese Speech Contest, which will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the University of Alberta.
