How we can help

We help the University of Alberta turn its institutional strategy into reality by providing the expertise and structure to manage complex initiatives, organizational change and process design. Its functions are delivered through three specialized teams:

Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)

Provides the framework, governance and professional project management expertise for delivering strategic initiatives successfully (on time, on budget and achieving intended benefits). This includes project/program management, portfolio management and cultivating project talent.

Enterprise Change Management (ECM)

Focuses on the "people side of change" to ensure new processes and systems are adopted effectively. Its work includes change strategy/planning, stakeholder engagement/communications and training/readiness to minimize disruption and maximize benefits to the University community.

Business Transformation and Service Design

Acts as an internal consultancy to improve fundamental processes and drive excellence in service. This involves process re-engineering, human-centered service design and enabling a continuous improvement culture to increase effectiveness and improve the user experience for the University community.
