Megan Hunter Biography
Megan K. Hunter, BKin, BEd, MSc, is an executive strategist for psychological health and safety. Her work focuses on translating psychosocial risk from a compliance obligation into a practical leadership capability.
Megan is a two-time University of Alberta alumna. She earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology in Healthy Living, Lifestyle and Well-Being from the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation in 2007. She returned to the School of Public Health to complete her Master of Science in Health Promotion and Socio-Behavioural Sciences in 2024, under the supervision of Dr. Candace Nykiforuk. Her graduate research examined the workplace conditions of flexibility and autonomy through the lens of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace at an Alberta organization during the COVID-19 pandemic.
