12:00 - 1:00 p.m. (MT)
Free | Virtual
Description
More and more people are having difficulties in covering day-to-day expenses, saving money, and paying down debts. The Centre for Healthy Communities (CHC) and its partners developed a Framework and Guidebook to drive multi-sectoral action on financial wellbeing. At this webinar, we will be launching a new website that includes the Framework, evidence-informed strategies, and indicators in an interactive format to encourage action on financial wellbeing across sectors.
During the webinar you will:
- Increase your awareness about how financial wellbeing impacts health
- Get to know the Framework, Guidebook, and the intention of the new website
- Gain an understanding of how this interactive website, with the resources developed by the CHC and research partners, can equip action to improve financial wellbeing in Canada
- Learn how you can contribute to refining and improving users’ experience of the website
- Have the opportunity to ask questions about the website, Framework, and Guidebook
Please note the presentation portion (only) of the webinar will be recorded. A link will be made available after the event.
This virtual event is hosted by the Centre for Healthy Communities, School of Public Health with funding support from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (Grant #190200).
