- Provides temporary emergency accommodation for students and their children facing immediate safety risks, housing instability, or extreme financial hardship.

- A confidential, and non-judgemental place to talk to trained volunteers for support with wellness and information.
- Safewalk program
- Volunteers will walk with you anywhere on campus or within 20 minutes from nearly any LRT Station
- Lone Worker Program (check-ins during after-hours work)
- Enhance personal safety while working or studying alone after hours by requesting check-ins from a peace officer from U of A Protective Services.
- Request UAPS peace officers at a university event
- U of A Protective Services offers special duty services to provide security at a variety of U of A functions and events upon request.
- Request personal safety accompaniment from UAPS
- Outside of UASU Safewalk hours, U of A Protective Services provides personal safety accompaniment between locations on university property.

- Guidance on what to do in a variety of emergency situations. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
