The Machine Shop in the Mechanical Engineering Building aids researchers, students, and other groups both on and off-campus in completing project builds. This service involves support along every step of a project, including:

  • Scope definition and initial manufacturability consultations
  • Time and cost estimates
  • Design services, including full model and drawing packages
  • Manufacturing of custom parts and equipment, including the outsourcing, incorporation, and commissioning of parts from outside companies
  • Assembly services
  • Repairs or adjustments to existing parts and equipment

We also offer training on select equipment, for those who wish to complete some work themselves.

  • 3D Printing Services: FDM and Photo-Polymer

  • Panel and Table Saws

Training is available on:
