Question during U of A Days?

Please visit the Information Tent located in Main Quad. Hours of operation are:

  • Friday, September 23 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Locations

What is the Information Tent? Where is it located?

The Information Tent is located in Main Quad (near Athabasca and Pembina Halls). Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions, register you for tours, etc.. The majority of campus tours also depart from here. Hours of operation are:

  • Friday, September 23, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 24, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
Where are washrooms located?

Where can I find an ATM?

Banking machines are located on the main floor of the Students' Union Building (SUB) and at the north end of HUB Mall.

I'm new on campus. How can I find the buildings?

Refer to this campus map for the buildings that are hosting U of A Days events.

Transportation

Can I take transit to get there?

Both the North and South University campuses are accessible via the LRT. For information on the Edmonton Transit System, please visit the ETS Trip Planner.

I need help getting across campus. What can I do?

Catch the Campus Express! If you need assistance, one of our golf carts can help get you where you want to go. Call 780-902-2724 to have a cart dispatched to you.

Please note, the Campus Express can travel north of 87th Avenue only.

I can't find my child, what do I do?

In the event that you are separated from your child, please check with the Information Tent in Main Quad. They may be there waiting for you, or a radio alert can be sent to event staff to coordinate efforts to find them.

What do I do in the event of an emergency?

In the event of an emergency, please call:

  • Protective Services at 780-492-5050, 24 hours a day
  • 9-1-1, Edmonton Police Service
How do I contact Lost & Found?

If you lose an item over Alumni Weekend, please contact Alumni Relations at 780-492-3224 or Protective Services at 780-492-2943.

Other

Can I bring my dog to campus?

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on campus. Exceptions include the use of a service animal.

Do I need a ticket for events?

None of the events require a physical ticket but some require pre-registration. If you are registered, simply provide your name when you check in at the event. Your confirmation email will show the events that you are registered for.

What is the schedule of events?

How do I replace a lost nametag?

In the event that you misplace your nametag or would like a new one, please visit the Information Tent located in Main Quad for a replacement. Hours of operation are:

  • Friday, September 23, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What happens if it rains/snows?

Green + Gold Day pep rally will move forward rain/snow or shine. Family Fun Day will move to the Main Gym if rain/snow is in the forecast. We will make that call 3 days before the event. Signage will direct guests to the appropriate location.
