Question during U of A Days?

Please visit the Information Tent located in Main Quad. Hours of operation are:

  • Friday, September 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration

Do I need a ticket for events? Where do I pick them up?

None of the events require a physical ticket but several do require pre-registration. If you are registered, simply provide your name when you check in at the event. Your confirmation email will list the events that you are registered for.

Registration for all events, unless noted otherwise, will close at 10 am on Wednesday, September 20.

Locations

What is the Information Tent? Where is it located?

The Information Tent is located in Main Quad, near Athabasca and Pembina Halls. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions, register you for tours, etc.. The majority of campus tours also depart from here. Hours of operation are:

  • Friday, September 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 23, from 8:30 am to 2 pm
Where are washrooms located?

Washrooms are located throughout campus. Washrooms closest to Quad are in:

Where can I find an ATM?

Banking machines are located on the main floor of the Students' Union Building (SUB) and at the north end of HUB Mall.

I'm new on campus. How can I find the buildings?

First Aid?

For first aid needs, please visit the Information Tent located in Main Quad.

I can't find my child, what do I do?

In the event that you are separated from your child, please check with the Information Tent in Main Quad. They may be there waiting for you, or a radio alert can be sent to event staff to coordinate efforts to find them.

What do I do in the event of an emergency?

In the event of an emergency, please call:

  • Protective Services at 780-492-5050 (24 hours a day), Education Car Park, 11390 - 87 Avenue
  • 9-1-1, Edmonton Police Service
How do I contact Lost & Found?

If you lose an item during U of A Days, please contact Protective Services.

Can I take transit to get there?

Both the North and South University campuses are accessible via the LRT. For information on the Edmonton Transit System, please visit the ETS website.

Can I bring my dog to campus?

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on campus. Exceptions include the use of a service animal.

How do I replace a lost nametag?

In the event that you misplace your nametag or would like a new one, please visit the Information Tent located in Main Quad for a replacement. Hours of operation are:

  • Friday, September 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What happens if it rains/snows?

The majority of the events are indoors so they won't be impacted by inclement weather. The Information Tent will remain open in Main Quad, rain or shine. Kids on Campus will move to the Main Gym if the forecast is poor. Signage will direct guests to the appropriate location.
