Overview

 

  • FUBiS is an intensive academic program through which students can earn credits that may count towards their degrees at their home institutions. Sessions run for 4 to 6 weeks.

  • Offers intensive and semi-intensive German language classes at up to five proficiency levels.

  • Includes subject classes on various topics, most taught in English by distinguished German and international faculty.

  • A variety of excursions included to enhance cultural immersion.

  • Note: ECTS credits are typically divided in half when transferring back to UAlberta (e.g., 6 ECTS = 3 UAlberta credits).

FUBiS arranges off-campus accommodation for the duration of the program, available to select during registration (subject to availability). Options include:
