The goal of Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria is to train professionals to acquire the tools necessary to lead teams, develop creative and innovative initiatives, as well as to be sensitive to their socio-cultural milieu, thus complementing their excellence and competence in their specific disciplines: arts, culture, sports, languages and social work become an important part of our students' activities.
They develop their skills and interests through several areas so to experience and develop their capacity for teamwork, assertiveness, entrepreneurship, creativity and social responsibility.
The main campus has scholarly gothic architecture with a beautiful view to the Pacific Ocean. In 2008 it was chosen as one of the most remarkable national architectural works of the 20th century.

Course Information

Language of Instruction: Spanish (B1 Spanish or its equivalent with any international certification, language course or with UAlberta confirmation by filling out and submitting the Language Requirement Form . A2 Spanish is also accepted but students must enroll in the Intensive Spanish course and a semester Spanish course.)

Field of Study: All

Exchange students should not take 1st-year courses at this university as they are equivalent to courses at the Grade 12 and will likely NOT be granted transfer credit at UAlberta.
