It is also the country's oldest university museum and features ancient artifacts from Egypt, the Middle East, Greece, Rome, Cyprus and Mesopotamia, collected by the University over many years and added to by recent archaeological expeditions.

Eligibility Requirements

Open to: All Faculties

Level: Undergraduate, Graduate

  • Students must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA to participate in the exchange to the University of Sydney.
  • Students need to have grade results from at least 2 terms of study at UAlberta (not including the spring and summer terms) at the time of application to be considered for this exchange.
  • Students need to be able to demonstrate meeting the University of Sydney's English language proficiency requirements.

Course Information

Language of Instruction: English

Field of Study: All but Dentistry program, MBA program, graduate units of study offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Sydney Nursing School, clinical units in the School of Psychology, Physiotherapy, and Veterinary Science.

Housing

University of Sydney Accommodation

The University of Sydney has guaranteed accommodation for study abroad and exchange students with negotiated shorter contract dates (to align with the semester) and discount weekly rates (which are different to the regular rates advertised on the linked site). These are negotiated with our housing partners each year, and students will apply via a different application form directly to the University of Sydney by a certain date.
