Congratulations to Dr. Vanessa Meier-Stephenson on receiving the Bridge Funding for Early Career Researchers of the Peter Lougheed Research Award, awarded by the Calgary Foundation for Community. This grant is dedicated to support research activities of excellent early career researchers (defined as within five years of first faculty appointment) in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FoMD) at the University of Alberta. FoMD’s policy is to provide this award to the highest ranked, but not funded, early career investigator applicant in a CIHR project grant competition.
