Library
ONEcard is the official Library card for one of Canada's largest academic libraries. It is also your card for accessing any of the libraries in the NEOS Library Consortium Site in central Alberta.
Library privileges are automatically attached to your ONEcard if you are one of the following:
- Current University of Alberta Student
- Current University of Alberta Staff Member
- Current and registered University of Alberta Academic Visitor or Postdoctoral Fellow
Show your ONEcard at the nearest Campus Library to access services. Visit the University of Alberta Libraries site for more information about their services.

*ONEcard is now accepted for payment of Library fines at all InfoLink Locations, including the InfoLink ONEcard Service Centre in HUB Mall.
Edmonton Public Libraries L-Pass (Library Pass)
Current University of Alberta students may register for access to all EPL services. Once registered, the barcode on your ONEcard will be applied to your new EPL account and you can use it to check-out material from any EPL location. It's free!
Distance Student Library Card
Students who are registered in credit courses for the current term, but are unable to visit the main campus to get a University of Alberta ONEcard (and have not had one issued in the past) can obtain a virtual ONEcard, which provides access to the library barcode.
Continuing Education students are not eligible for this card.
Please note that some faculties apply for the distance card on their students' behalf: these include Education (Red Deer, GPRC & Keyano colleges) and Nursing (GPRC). If you are in one of these programs, you do not need to submit this form.
The form is located here. You will need to authenticate using your University of Alberta CCID & Password in order to apply.
