
Your virtual ONEcard acts as your student identification while attending classes remotely. Write exams, access student discounts, borrow books using library curbside pick up and much more—use your virtual ONEcard anywhere you may be asked for your student ID while you're off campus!
If you're required to be on campus, you'll need to get a physical ONEcard.
How do I get my Virtual ONEcard?
Register for classes
You can get a virtual ONEcard once you are registered in at least one class for the Winter 2021 semester.
Upload your photo
Upload a photo for your virtual ONEcard. Once you’ve uploaded a photo, your virtual ONEcard will be made available starting January 1, 2021.
If you already have a ONEcard, you do not need to upload a new photo.
Download the app
Follow these steps to set up your Virtual ONEcard.
- Open or download the MyUAlberta app on your Apple or Android phone
- Find MyONEcard and tap My Virtual ONEcard. This will open the TouchNet ONEcard app or direct you to the app in your device’s app store to download
- Select University of Alberta and log in with your CCID and password
- Choose View Card to view your virtual ONEcard
