I studied art history, media studies, and musicology (Bachelor of Arts) at the University of Marburg in Germany and the University of Oslo in Norway. In 2019, I graduated with a master’s degree in musicology from the University of Vienna in Austria. My master thesis focused on the images of Tyrol in Viennese operetta.

Now, I’m a PhD candidate in musicology at the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna. Subject of my doctoral thesis are transfer processes of operettas between Vienna, Berlin, and Stockholm from 1927 to 1945. I’m focussing on the strategies of editing initially German operettas for stagings in Stockholm. I want to explore the circumstances of the operetta production in Stockholm and thus allow a deeper understanding of the adaptions that were made.

Besides my scientific research, I have worked with major European music festivals such as Lucerne Festival and Grafenegg Festival, furthermore at the Vienna Volksoper, the publisher Schott Music, and Klassik Radio in Hamburg.
