Martina Podboj is Teaching and Research Assistant at the English Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (University of Rijeka, Croatia). She was the recipient of the 2017–2018 Wirth Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Alberta, Canada. Her research interests include critical discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, second language acquisition, and multilingualism.
