The Assault on Truth: How Fake News Destabilizes our Society

Fake news is one of the most urgent issues in today's society. Without an agreement on objective truth, we are acutely vulnerable to the whims, biases, delusions, and especially, political manipulations of whoever holds the power. Ignorance is not bliss, it's deadly. Join the Faculty of Arts for an evening of discussion and deliberation on fake news. Hear the various persepctives of UAlberta Faculty of Arts professors on this timely issue. Refreshments available.
