Since last fall, we started a hiring campaign to meet the shortage we had in our lecturer-researchers staff. As a result, five lecturer- researchers were hired. "I am delighted that these lecturers are bringing their expertise to join Campus Saint-Jean family. These lecturers are bringing in a new dimension that will not only profit the students, but the campus at large as well as the francophone community. Their fields of specialty will not only strengthen the position of Campus Saint-Jean as leader in the francophone research sphere but will also offer a new range of options to our students. We also expect that these young and dynamic researchers play an important role in our relationship with the community," said the Dean of Campus Saint-Jean, Pierre-Yves Mocquais

In addition, since July 1st, two professors have been appointed at the helm of two of our institutions. Now, Claude Couture replaces Carol Leonard as director of Institut pour le patrimoine de la francophonie de l'Ouest canadien, and Pamela Sing replaces Frederic Boily at the head of Institute of Canadian Studies.

"I would like to thank Mr Leonard and Mr Boily for their respective valuable contributions for all these years, especially the difficult ones, to the growth of Campus Saint-Jean. " The Dean, Pierre-Yves Mocquais highlighted.
