Dr Cammarata and the Campus St-Jean invited to travel to Ireland: Keynote and symposium

From May 18-19, 2018, Dr. Cammarata participated in The Second All-Ireland Research Conference on Immersion Education - Immersion Education: Opportunities and Best Practices that took place at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, Ireland. This conference also welcomed researchers from all over Europe and the United States.

The keynote speech he was invited to give entitled "The missing link in immersion education research: What is it and why should we care?" allowed Dr. Cammarata to share the results of his recent research on immersion education and, at the same time, to publicize the program of Education at Campus St-Jean in this part of Europe where immersion education is booming and where research in this area is very dynamic. During this conference, Dr. Cammarata also participated in a symposium on the topic of developing teacher and leadership capacity in immersion where he gave a presentation entitled: "In search of immersion teacher educators."
