Undergraduate Students

CRINA researchers have made great strides in deciphering how cancer arises and progresses. We hope that we can inspire future scientists. If you have any questions about cancer research at the University of Alberta, please contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.

The information below describes how to apply for research positions during the summer months at the University of Alberta.

Summer Undergraduate Research Program

Undergraduate students interested in gaining experience understanding the complexities of cancer research are encouraged to apply for summer research positions to work alongside practicing scientists and perform hands-on research in our biomedical laboratories.

CRINA uses the Alberta Innovates Summer Research Studentships (SRS) program for the application process. Applications that are not successful in the Alberta Innovates SRS competition will be forwarded to CRINA for consideration. For complete details on how to apply, visit the Alberta Innovates SRS website
